All students are required to have proper equipment to attend martial arts classes: gloves, shin guards, groin protection and mouth guard.
 Students under the age of 16 are required to have head gear as well.

We have gear packs available at APEX MMA. 
Kids classes are available for kids aged 6-12 with no prior martial arts experience necessary.
All adult classes are available to everyone, at any skill level ages 13 and up, excluding the advanced MMA classes which are on an invitational basis.
MMA

Mixed Martial Arts combines all aspects of combat sports: striking, grappling and submissions. Training in MMA increases strength and conditioning, endurance, hand/eye coordination and flexibility using a variety of techniques resulting in an absolute full body workout. The teqniques learned in MMA are not just useful in the cage, but also in all self-defense situations. Besides the physical benefits of training in MMA, it also has huge positive affects on self-confidence, focus and self-discipline. MMA is one of the fastest growing sports for a reason...it's fun, exciting, and it works! We offer a variety of MMA classes for all skill levels including our new MMA Fit class which is a cardio based class using basic MMA techniques for maximum results.

 
BOXING

Available to all ages and experience levels, we will be offering boxing classes dealing with basic fundamentals as well as light sparring. Boxing is a great way to relieve stress, build cardio, and to greatly improve hand eye coordination and foot speed....not to mention, it's super fun! We are proud to offer an atmosphere where all levels of experience are welcome.
BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

Jiu Jitsu is a self defense system that mainly deals with grappling and ground fighting, focusing on submission holds and locks. Techniques taught can be applied to BJJ,  MMA and self-defense. We believe that JIu Jitsu promotes confidence, self-discipline and character in any practitioner of any size or strength. We presently offer both kid's and adult no Gi Jiu JItsu classes, with a plan of offering full Gi Jiu Jitsu in the future as the demand grows.

MUAY THAI / KICKBOXING


Muay Thai is a striking based form of kickboxing. In these classes you will be taught proper striking techniques using punches, kicks, elbows and knees.  We will be offering classes to beginners as well as open sparring for athletes with more kickboxing experience. Beginners will be required to have gloves and hand wraps. Anyone wanting to spar will also require head gear, a mouth guard and shin pads.


BOOT CAMPS

High intensity circuit training combing cardiovascular and resistance training using a wide variety of exercises and equipment. Circuit training has become a popular way to improve mobility, strength and stamina in a fun group atmosphere. These are fast paced classes that get an amazing and very effective workout in for absolutely anyone at any fitness level.
These are a favorite at Apex MMA! All you need is a pair of runners.

KIDS SUMMER CAMP

We will be offering a unique summer camp for kids ages 6-12. This will involve a variety of mixed martial arts and other athletic training programs   both indoor and outdoor. Our camps will give youth an opportunity to increase their athletic skills, gain confidence and respect, and stay active in a fun, respectful team atmosphere. We pride ourselves in our anti-bullying program.
